More Than Blinds It’s Design

Park City is diverse and Park City Blind & Design caters to the diversity. Whether you are shopping for a single window or an entire home, the wide variety of products, expertise, and warmth of the Park City Blind & Design team is the one stop.

Longer nights require black-out coverings for optimal sleep. Bright sun necessitates window treatments designed to preserve furniture. And, of course, the form must follow these functions—Park City Blind & Design has all of that and more.

For almost 20 years, Park City Blind & Design has served the entire Wasatch Front and Back, including Park City. Owner Clint Olson understands the design challenges of mountain living and specializes in “tricky windows.”

This season, Park City Blind & Design is featuring fabrics by Sunbrella. Because Park City has evolved into a summer destination with more and more people living in outdoor spaces, Park City Blind & Design creates awnings and covers cushions on outdoor furniture with versatile fabrics in trending colors.

“Often clients want natural looking designs to fit the contemporary mountain style,” explains Olson. “Th e sunscreen roller shades are ideal for optimizing mountain views while blocking the sun, UV and glare.” Trending this summer are natural woven fibers with rich textures in blues and grays —enhancing any outdoor or indoor setting.

The new design studio features comfortable seating surrounded by fabrics and hardware. It is an ideal spot for designers to meet clients. Olson’s daughter, Alex, is on-site and works to make sure that the looks they design are “cohesive with the rest of the home.”

With both designers and installers, Park City Blind & Design ensures quality and installation; they are not finished until their clients are satisfied. Olson notes, “Satisfaction is guaranteed. We even fi x blinds from other installers.” However, his greatest love is the challenge of custom fitting the latest trends into mountain homes to enhance the views.
Olson explains, “Functionally, we know what works best for windows here in Park City. We can design treatments and matching coverings for any style home or office.”
