DESIGNED TO CAPTURE THE BREATHTAKING VIEWS, this modern, mountain estate perched above Glenwild Golf Course blends effortlessly into its natural surroundings.

The home was custom designed by local design-build firm Jaffa Group with Jon Turkula as lead architect/designer on the home. The Jaffa Group worked closely with Sapp Development Group. Scott Jaffa, Principal Architect/CEO explained the vision behind this exclusive home.

“We designed and sited the home so every room either had a golf course view, Uinta view or a ski mountain view. In the master bedroom and great room, you see all of those views.”

Utilizing the slope of the terrain, the garage is uniquely located on the top level of the home along with the master suite and most bedrooms. An elevator greets the entrance off the garage for easy access to the lower level.

Clean lines emanate throughout the home and are combined with generous pops of color.

Bold tile selections can be found in the bathrooms as well as the blue tile accentuating the Miele range and hood. To capture the passion of one of the son’s love for comics, a few familiar graphics make a cameo appearance among the subway tile in his shower.

The large, sleek kitchen features 2 custom-made cabinetry by Peppertree Kitchen and Bath. Keeping a minimalistic approach, recessed hand pulls eliminate any visible hardware on all of the cabinets. A waterfall edge showcases the island handcraft ed with a handsome Neolith surface. “Th e aluminum strip of cabinet doors canvassing the top of the hood is a stunning feature,” explained Steve Norr of Peppertree. The matte white finish on the kitchen will aid in keeping with the crisp lines throughout the home. Spilling into the hidden butler’s pantry, white and glass cabinetry align the walls.

Entertaining will be a delight as the open feel easily transitions into the next room.

Along with four fireplaces, including one on the patio, room for entertaining thrives. The metal and glass floating staircase is a prominent feature located in the center of the home. No view is compromised descending each step as the incredible floor-to-ceiling window commands anyone’s attention.

The elevations are one of the most impressive features of this home. With board-formed concrete, vertical-grain cedar siding and standing seam metal panels all interspersed with the exposed structural steel, the exterior is one of the most brilliant features and undoubtedly piques the interest of anyone driving by this estate.
