Saving the Animals of Heber Valley

According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year. Paws for Life is a new non-profit, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping Utah’s homeless dogs and cats through community education, low cost spay/neuter clinics and low cost immunizations. Paws for Life’s Executive Director, Cathy Boruch, has made it the rescue group’s mission to help find forever homes for abandoned and stray dogs, cats, horses and other animals as needed.

Based in Heber City, Utah, Paws for Life is also responsible for daily operation of the Heber Valley Animal Shelter, enabling the shelter to keep regular hours of operation so that the general public can visit animals there, as well as reclaim their lost pets. Animals rescued through Paws for Life are available for adoption at the Heber Animal Shelter and cats are at the Heber Petco.

All monetary donations made to Paws for Life and all money raised through charity events and fundraisers will stay in Wasatch County, truly helping the local homeless animal population. Paws for Life is the only no-kill animal rescue group that serves Wasatch County and the Heber Valley area and is able to do so thanks to their hardworking, devoted volunteers and contributions made by the public.

Donations items such as cat litter, hay, dog and cat/kitten food are always needed.
