Summer came early to Park City this year. And not a soul squandered Mother Nature’s gift. In a blink, mountain bikes populated the trails; outside decks filled with diners; golf carts picked up where the cross country skiers left off; flip flops replaced mud-season boots; and blossoms—yellows, blues, pinks and whites—popped up brightly in the sea of sage and aspen green. Asunpredictable as the high country can be, we locals leap at any hint of stolen summer. And for good reason. The season is never long enough.
