“We believe that good habits begin at a young age.”

Park City is a great place for raising a family and is home to outstanding pediatric care that helps keep our loved ones healthy and up and running. Colds and flu happen. So do recurrent sneezing or wheezing caused by allergens and asthma. How about the new baby with her first stomach flu or earache? Even our healthiest little ones can succumb to the occasional ailments, but the best in healthcare can put our minds at ease.

The following friendly, family-based practices offer a wide range of services, including routine health and wellness programs with expert pediatric care to treat and manage all of your kid-care needs.

Mountain Family Health
“In our practice, we fell that comprehensive care for the whole family allows us to treat patients with a better understanding of their psycho-social background,” states Mountain FamilyHealth’s Dr. Brian Rush, who has teamed with partner Dr. Julie Dolan for over ten years at the Park City clinic.

Mountain Family Health is a private practice offering exceptional care for the entire family, including pediatrics, urgent care and sports medicine, along with an array of specialized services, including health guidance and preparations for travel, weight loss, dermatological treatments and other personal health and wellness needs As Dr. Rush explains, “We believe that good habits begin at a young age. Providing preventive wellness to families is our top goal, and as a small, independent practice, we are able to provide families with focused individual care that accommodates the unique needs of each patient—and those of his or her family members. Our practice is geared to care for families. We care about whole family health.”

Intermountain Park City Medical Center
When medical needs arrive unexpectedly, professional help can be found at Park City’s world-class emergency medical facility.
The Park City Medical Center, which opened in August 2009, is a state-of-the-art facility with 24-hour emergency services. “We offer a level of service not seen before in this area. In fact, this kind of service is rare for any hospital that serves a community of this size anywhere in the country. It is the best possible place for Summit County residents and visitors to get emergency treatment,” says Kris Kemp, MD, director of the Emergency Department. Although all department doctors are trained to handle emergencies, one doctor is specifically trained in pediatric emergency medicine—not typically found outside of a pediatric hospital.

It’s comforting to know that when your child needs immediate or routine medical attention, you can rely on attentive, skilled, and caring physicians. No matter the circumstances, rest assured that Park City’s pediatricians and medical services are ready to ensure your child’s optimal health, growth and well-being.
