Join the Party.

350 Main, a comfortable upscale dining oasis in Old Town, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Located in an historic former general store, the restaurant’s large awning shades the front windows adorned with colorful flower boxes overlooking Main Street. A thriving tapas bar, a downstairs private dining room, and windows that open to Main Street for open-air-seating make it a perfect place for dinner or any kind of party!

Managing Partner Cortney Johanson shares the recipe for success: “We offer fine dining, but with personality. The staff is like family — some 15-20 years, and enjoy the work they do. They really give patrons a great experience.” She herself started bussing tables when she was fourteen, and now her husband and two children are also part of the clan. In her current role, Johanson’s in it for the long haul and will continue the 350 Main tradition — dynamic atmosphere, memorable experiences and great food.

New Executive Chef Matt Safranek is keeping the restaurant’s signature dishes including the Ahi Tuna Tower and the New York Strip Steak, but he’s also adding his own culinary vibe to
the menu. Safranek brings a diverse background and experience in fine dining and seafood establishments, having worked in Seattle, New York, Martha’s Vineyard, and Dublin, Ireland. As most chefs know, cooking is also about family, and Safranek is no exception. At 350 Main, he has added his Great Grandmother’s cocktail sauce recipe and his Grandma Jean’s Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Frosting. Also featured on the dessert menu are daily fresh fruit crisps and Key Lime Pie. For this summer, they have planted their own herb garden on the restaurant’s roof. Safranek will be making his own cheeses, ricotta salata and camembert, with locally sourced milk, as well as his own charcuterie with venison and pork.

If you have a smaller appetite but want to sample great flavors, check out 350 Main’s Tapas Bar. Roasted Colorado Elk Sausage with Warm Black Lentil Salad joins a Quinoa Cake with Sweet Corn Relish and Tart Cherry Pesto on this tantalizing menu. Another phenomenal menu item is the PEI Mussels with Chorizo and Focaccia. Having trouble deciding? Get a sampling platter and share with friends.

350 Main’s mission — delicious, healthy food that guests will want to enjoy week aft er week — has served it well for two decades. Come be part of the family and join the party — “We’re 20!”
