ADVENTURE + GEAR MOUNTAIN FEST PARTNERS WITH COTTONWOOD CANYONS FOUNDATION

Local non-profit supports Utah’s largest adventure festival

PARK CITY, Utah (June 14, 2019) — The 6th annual Adventure+Gear Mountain Fest returns to Snowbird Friday, June 28 – Sunday, June 30, 2019, with the crucial support of the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation. The non-political non-profit dedicated to continuously improve the environment of Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons through stewardship and education programs will assist coordinating ranger-guided hikes for kids and families, educate and engage with the public about the canyons and host a fundraiser at this year’s festival.

“We greatly value the partnership we have with the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation for this year’s festival, and their involvement speaks volumes to their dedication to local efforts to build love and respect for our natural resources,” said Landon John, co-producer of the event. “We understand we can accomplish more for our mountains when we work together.”

Adventure+Gear Mountain Fest will feature more than 100 local and national gear vendors, on-mountain events, demos, clinics, live music and more for adventurers of the road, mountains, water, snow, expeditions, and supporters of outdoor causes. On Friday, June 28, Saturday, June 29 and Sunday June 30, the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation will host a booth with information about their current initiatives, volunteer opportunities to conduct educational and environmental improvement projects, host a fundraiser for the organization and offer guided ranger hikes at the Adventure+Gear Mountain Fest.
