“Aerial Survey #9″ by Curtis Olson Mixed media on panel, 30″ x 30”

Olson combines orderly design that reflects his years an an architect with his love for the Japanese aesthetic of wabi sabi. Repeatedly scoring, painting, and sanding his unique surface, Olson achieves powerful compositions that are both contemporary and have an aged beauty.

“Alpine” by Heather Patterson
Mixed media on panel, 59″ x 59″

Pattersons’ fresh paintings are a fascinating combination of organic and man-made patterns. Controlled experimentation with acrylics leave random patterns that are layered under very deliberate marks that suggest flight patterns, construction webbing, and molecular structures.
