DEER VALLEY RESORT WELCOMES FALL WITH EVENTS, EARLY BIRD WINTER
SEASON PASSES, AUTUMN DINING

DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (October 1, 2019) – With cooler temps and vibrant hues on their way, Deer Valley Resort invites guests to enjoy a fall season full of events, early bird winter season pass discounts, and seasonal dining experiences before the 2019-2020 winter season begins on Saturday, December 7.

“As summer dwindles, fall ramps up at Deer Valley with our annual blood drive, Navajo Rug Show and special fall promotions ahead of our highly-anticipated winter season,” said Coleen Reardon, Deer Valley Resort Director of Marketing. “We look forward to celebrating autumn with our guests stopping in or staying with us for any occasion.”

16th Annual “Transylvania Tea Party” Blood Drive
Thursday, October 31
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Snow Park Lodge’s second floor Clock Room

In partnership with ARUP Blood Services, Deer Valley’s Halloween tradition encourages visitors to give blood to help alleviate the constant demand for emergency situations and individuals suffering from illnesses like cancer, blood disorders and sickle-cell anemia among others. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can be scheduled online at arupbloodservices.org, using the search code B068. Costumes are encouraged but optional, and light refreshments will be provided. Donors must be 18 or older (or at least 16 years old with parental permission slip), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, and provide a photo ID. 30th Annual Navajo Rug Show & Sale
Friday, November 8 – Sunday, November 10
Snow Park Lodge

Deer Valley Resort hosts the 30th annual Navajo Rug Show and Sale, the only event of its kind in the world supporting traditional Navajo Elders. Guests immerse themselves in Navajo culture through weaving demonstrations, singing and traditional dances, among other experiences. Elders will have their hand-woven rugs, crafts and jewelry available for purchase and will receive 100% of the proceeds of their goods to support themselves and their families.
