Deer Valley to Open for Summer Operations

We excited to announce that Deer Valley will be opening for daily summer operations in June. Their lodging operations opened on Monday, June 1. the Deer Valley Grocery~Café will open Friday, June 5, and the Main Street Signatures store, opens on Friday, June 19, 2020. The remainder of their summer operation including lift-served mountain biking, hiking and scenic rides, rentals, lessons, the Royal Street Café and The Silver Lake Snack Shack will commence operations Friday, June 26, 2020.

The health, safety and well-being of their guests, staff and community continue to be of the utmost importance to Deer Valley.

Protocols will be in place to ensure social distancing requirements are met:

Chairlift queues will include markings to remain compliant with six-foot social distancing and there will be separate queues for scenic riders and mountain bikers. Only groups of common households will be permitted to ride together. Carriers and operational controls will be sanitized twice daily.

Deer Valley restaurants will have tables limited to parties of six or less and will maintain six feet of distance between groups. Limited outdoor seating will be available and monitored by a staff member. The restaurants will collect guest contact information prior to their being seated. Information included on required guest liability waivers and RFID ticket scans will allow Deer Valley to perform contact tracing protocols, if necessary.

Main Street Signatures will allow access for a limited number of guests in the store at any given time. A queue will be created outside the store.

Deer Valley is encouraging contactless pay options and online purchases and will use cleansing measures between in person transactions.

Please be aware that season lengths and operating plans may vary annually and are subject to change based on weather conditions, COVID-19 developments and other extenuating circumstances.
