BYOD in PC

You’ve heard of BYOB, but what about BYOD?

Outdoor dining season is in full force, and with many restaurants declaring their outdoor seating areas dog friendly, the town has truly earned its nickname; Bark City. Besides making sure your dog has a current rabies vaccination tag, there are additional rules (and plain old good manners) that dog owners should keep in-mind before toting their pup to a patio.

With the exception of service dogs, city ordinance states that dogs should never be brought inside a restaurant, and while asking your server to bring an extra burger patty for your dog or feeding your pet scraps from your plate seems innocent enough, both are no-no’s. And even though some restaurants don’t require dogs to be leashed at all times while on the patio, definitely make sure to bring a leash and keep your dog as close to your table as possible.

Park City is a vibrant mountain-town offering visitors a wealth of activities and sightseeing, gorgeous landscapes, and plenty of shopping and dining options. It’s also one of the most dog-friendly cities in the U.S., which means there are plenty of places to take Fido. Keeping in mind the brief tips for a happy outing, owners and dogs can rejoice together in all that Bark City has to offer.
