On Saturday Morning from 11:00 -12:00 head to Matt Knoop Park for an annual tradition – the Local’s Easter Egg Hunt. This event is free for kids ages 1 through 10. Register for the Easter Celebration at the Kimball Art Center. On Saturday from 10AM -11:30AM, let you and your child learn to dye eggs using marbling, glitter, wax resist techniques and more. On Sunday morning, take a quick drive south to the Homestead Resort and let the little ones enjoy the egg hunt from Noon to 12:30. The Homestead hunt is great for toddlers, because they break it up by ages, giving little legs time to get to the hidden treasures. Speaking of Brunch, what is Easter without this time-honored tradition? On Easter, take the bus to Main Street and enjoy Riverhorse’s annual Brunch Buffet from 10 AM to 2 PM. Hearth and Hill, a wonderful gathering spot in Kimball Junction, will be featuring its first-ever Easter Brunch on Sunday. Their seasoned, locally sourced buffet will include original recipes, as well as traditional favorites like cedar plank salmon and eggs benedict.
