Family Activities in Park City

Looking for family activities in Park City to do with the kids this weekend? We asked some of our readers their favorite options and wanted to share their suggestions on our blog:

Escape Room Park City has a variety of different themed escape rooms, the most famous being The Mine Room. Drawing on the city’s silver mining past, the scenario has you and your friends trapped during a mining tour and you need to find your way out before the mine collapses. There is also The Travel Room and a murder mystery themed room called The Parlor. All rooms feature challenging clues and puzzles you must solve in order to get out in time. Got to escaperoomparkcity.com for their latest themes and times.

There are plenty of creative and crafty family activities in Park City. The Park City Library offers tons of activities and events for kids, including Lego building, ukulele lessons, and regular arts and crafts events. There are also readings and story times for kids of all ages, as well as film screenings.

For an afternoon of nature watching, visit the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter. Learn about caumouflage, armor, spikes, and poison. Visit swanerecocenter.org for all their family activities in Park City including information on their live shows and exhibits.
Talk a stroll on Main and stop into the Park City Museum. The goal of the museum is to “preserve, protect and promote Park City’s history and heritage.” With interactive exhibits your family will love exploring Park City’s mining and ski history. Not only does the museum maintain permanent exhibits, there are also a variety of temporary exhibits throughout the year, featuring national exhibits to locally curated topics.
