HEARTH AND HILL JOINS EAT DRINK SLC TO CONTINUE COMMITMENT TO LOCAL COMMUNITY

PARK CITY, UTAH (July 3, 2019) — Hearth and Hill, one of Park City’s newest dining establishments, will serve as one of more than 50 food and drink partners at the 5th Annual Eat Drink SLC event on Wednesday, July 10, at Tracy Aviary in Liberty Park. While sharing fresh, innovative dishes and cocktails with guests is their specialty, “enriching the community” is at the heart of Hearth and Hill’s core mission and purpose.

“We believe serving a delicious meal in an inviting, laid-back atmosphere is just the beginning of being a good neighbor,” said Proprietor and Park City veteran Brooks Kirchheimer. “We are honored for the opportunity to join so many established Salt Lake City food and drink purveyors at this year’s Eat Drink SLC event, all for the sake of raising funds to pour back into our local community.”

Hearth and Hill’s commitment to giving back started from its inception. To celebrate its grand opening this past winter, the restaurant donated more than $1,000 to EATS Park City, a non-profit focused on ensuring Park City students have opportunities to develop lifelong healthy habits and access to fresh, nutritious, appealing food. Programs and activities include interactive cooking classes, indoor and outdoor school gardens, food pantry cooking demos, and a variety of student cooking camps. In an ongoing commitment to this important organization, Hearth and Hill donates $1 of every children’s meal sold to EATS Park City.

Proceeds from this year’s Eat Drink SLC event will benefit Neighborhood House. Established in 1894, the 125-year-old organization provides nationally accredited toddler, preschool, afterschool, and summer programs for children age 15 months to 12 years old, as well as day care and support services for adults who need supervised care during the day. Each year, Neighborhood House provides more than 55,000 days of care and serve more than 100,000 meals to more than 500 children and adults.

Eat Drink SLC guests will enjoy Hearth and Hill’s refreshing tomato watermelon salad of arugula, cucumber, pickled rind, dill, shallot and chèvre citrus vinaigrette. This taste of summer is just a sample of what foodies can enjoy from the restaurant’s full menu available for dining in or taking out. Private event space, outdoor patio seating, live music, and free parking provide a welcoming “gathering spot” for friends and families of all ages.
