Eats Meets West at Heber City Eatery

In addition to an American Southwestern menu of sandwiches, salads, wraps and juicy burgers made from local grass-fed beef, the Heber City Café/Galilee Grill also offers patrons a taste of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.

“We pride ourselves on serving traditional recipes from the Holy Land” says new owner Ehab Abunuwara of his second restaurant. (original location is in Lindon, Utah). A descendant from a long line of bakers, Ehab creates heavenly fluffy pita bread in an oven constructed from specs sent over by his father, the dessert menu features Pistachio Baklava and Namurah Cake that his mother served him as a child. Everything, including the flavorful tahini and yogurt mint sauce is made in house. Vegetarian items include Falafel, Baba Ganoush and the best hummus in town. Crowd favorites like Lamb or Chicken Schawarma, Stuffed Grape Leaves and Chicken or Kafta Beef Kabobs can be enjoyed in the informal dining room or on a shaded patio.
