Water Toys at the Jordanelle Reservoir

Thanks to our sunny skies and high altitude, summer heats up perfectly in Park City, and the nearby Jordanelle Reservoir is the perfect place to cool down. Although Park City is a world-renowned ski destination, it’s just as popular in summer for endless outdoor activities in a stunning mountain setting.
A visit to Jordanelle Reservoir is a revitalizing break after working up a sweat on the mountain trails or fairways. It’s also the ideal activity for everyone in the family to enjoy together. Just off Exit 8 on Highway 40, Jordanelle Reservoir is nestled in the rolling hills east of Park City. Have a calm lakeside picnic, dip your toes in the water, or nap in the shade—but the real fun of a day at the reservoir is toys, toys, toys! And all of them are waiting for you at Jordanelle Marina.
The beautiful marina is right on the lake with its own docks so getting onto the water is hassle free. The experienced staff makes your rental quick and easy so you spend more time playing in the sunshine and water. They see to it that you receive safety and operating instructions for a more enjoyable day with less frustration and risk. All required safety items (first aid kit, flotation devices, paddle, fire extinguisher, etc) are also included with each rental.
Rental boats come with a pull toy of your choice. Taking turns on water skis or a wakeboard is a fun way to learn or show off your water skimming skills. Towing a three-person tube or a water weenie with room for up to five lets even the inexperienced join in on the fun. Jet skis are a great way for grown- ups to thrill the little ones and then venture out solo for a more daring joyride.
Pontoon party boats allow your group to enjoy food and drinks while exploring Jordanelle’s coastline or having a relaxing float. Jumping overboard is encouraged. You can even rent a water trampoline that’s sure to produce squeals of delight, and launching into the water is a bonus. For a more placid or private experience, a fishing boat rental provides the opportunity to seek out the quieter parts of the reservoir for a variety of bass, perch and other fish.
