Park City Summer Concerts and Music Festivals

Summer in Park City is an extravagant delight for the senses and it wouldn’t be a high altitude summer without the sounds of magnificent music floating through the fresh mountain air.

CANYONS’ SUMMER CONCERT SERIES takes place in their quaint village every Saturday night, where talented local musicians perform for free.The music season starts withCanyons’popular Third of July Celebration featuring rousing music that has the audience on its feet, followed by a stellar fireworks display. Bring a picnic or dine at one of the village restaurants including TheFarm, rated “Best New Restaurant” in Utah for 2012.

THE DEER VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL plays host to the Utah Symphony and Utah Opera at the resort’s stunning Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater throughout the summer. Tributes to Hollywood or Broadway and headliners of pop, rock and classical music provide something for every musical taste. Bring your own meal or treat yourself to a delectable Deer Valley gourmet picnic prepared by resort chefs.

Park City Performing Arts Foundation presents BIG STARS BRIGHT NIGHTS, sponsored by The St.Regis. On these special nights, the voices of famous music stars fill Deer Valley’s amphitheater. Gourmet picnic baskets are also available for these concerts.The combination of musical legends, idyllic atmosphere and fresh, delicious food makes these concerts a special summer experience.

GRAND VALLEY BANK’S COMMUNITY CONCERT SERIES every Wednesday evening is a free treat for locals and visitors.  Also held in Deer Valley’s amphitheater, these concerts feature the best of our local musicians.

The intimate venue at RIFF’S FULL MOON CONCERT SERIES provides an ideal setting for gifted newcomers and seasoned Grammy nominees alike. Enjoy the coffee bar with fresh pastries before settling in for an up-close musical encounter with artists from all over the country.

The free NEWPARK CONCERTS, located in Kimball Junction, are every Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. Stroll the shops, stop for a bite at one of several choice restaurants nearby, then head to Newpark Town Center and relax to the music of artists from their eclectic lineup.

Sundance Resort’s BLUE BIRD CAFÉ CONCERT SERIES brings a bit of Nashville to the mountains. Talented singer-songwriters share their unique sound in the rustic outdoor amphitheater set among
majestic peaks. Start with a hike or lift ride to soak up the scenery, feast on mouthwatering BBQ, then catch a wagon ride up the hill for some original tunes.

Set amid the lovely flora of Salt Lake’s Red Butte Garden, the RED BUTTE OUTDOOR CONCERT SERIES offers a great mix of musical acts around. Artists from Vampire Weekend to Jackson Browne will offer something for everyone. Picnic on the rolling lawn or enjoy a delicious meal from the Whole Foods concession. Explore the gardens before the show and quench your thirst at the water bottle fountain.

Bring blankets or low back chairs and warm jackets for the cool nights, then discover how our hills really are alive with the sound of music.
