New Thai Restaurant on Main Street: Baan Thai Cuisine & Bar

Our entire team would like to welcome Baan Thai Cuisine & Bar to Park City!

This authentic home style restaurant opened its doors last month and is already receiving praise from locals and visitors alike. Located next to the Marriott Summit Watch, it’s easily accessible from both Main Street and Deer Valley Drive.

The décor is bright and open, with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The service is professional without being stuffy, and there is a beautiful full bar and creative cocktail menu.

The extensive menu at Baan Thai Cuisine & Bar is full of traditional favorites and unique chef specialties. Be sure to order the revitalizing coconut water, served in a freshly carved coconut, while you peruse their tempting appetizer selection. Our team started with fresh mango spring rolls and flavorful lettuce wraps. And we couldn’t get enough of the plump and delicious Thai Dumplings!

If you need a warm-up from the crisp January air, order a cup of the Tom Kha soup. This Thai coconut chicken soup is the perfect blend of creamy and tangy.

Of course, after an epic day on the slopes or braving the crowds of Sundance, you will undoubtedly require a filling entrée. The main dishes are all served family style. Both our team and the couple next to us absolutely loved the Raad NaaTiger Prawns. This crispy noodle dish is served in a scrumptious house gravy with large tiger prawns, carrots, broccoli, zucchini, baby corn and mushrooms.

You also can’t go wrong with any of the traditional Thai dishes. The Panang Curry with Chicken can be spiced per your taste. For me, the hotter the better! We also enjoyed the Pad Tai, with a choice of chicken, pork, beef, mixed veggies or tofu. Or pay a little extra and add seafood (shrimp, calamari or salmon.)

Finish your meal with Coconut Ice Cream or Jackfruit with Sweet Sticky Rice. Yummy!

Baan Thai Cuisine and Bar is open Sunday through Thursday from 12 PM to 9:30 PM and Friday -Saturday 12 PM to 10 PM.
