Round Valley Open Space – Soldier Hollow

Located in nearby Midway, Round Valley provides almost 700 acres of contiguous recreational open space and is considered by many locals as Park City’s playground. The sagebrush-dotted hills of Round Valley are home to some of the area’s most beautiful residents: moose, deer, rabbits and even the occasional coyote. During the winter months, approximately 15 kilometers of groomed trails are available for snowshoe and cross- country ski enthusiasts. You’re likely to see dog walkers, joggers, and snow bikes, all enjoying the Round Valley trail system. Yearly events such as the Round Valley Round-Up Nordic Race and the Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race are also held here. With the backdrop enhanced by the Wasatch Mountains to the west and the Uintas to the east, this serene setting provides limitless hours of family-friendly, high-altitude enjoyment. www.soldierhollow.com
