Bill Rock is an executive, philanthropist, and community leader who has served on Park City Community Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2015. Professionally, Bill is Chief Operating Officer of Park City Mountain Resort and Vice President of Vail Resorts. We sat down with Bill to find out more about why he loves Park City and the Community Foundation.
Community Coming Together: Social Equity Update
With the support of Park City Municipal Corporation, and building on the tremendous work local nonprofits are doing, Park City Community Foundation is addressing social equity in our town. The work has already begun, and our goal is for Park City and Summit County to be a thriving community where everyone has access to opportunities and is respected, included, and empowered. On February 26, we hosted our first Community Forum under the banner of the Social Equity Initiative.

Each year, Park City Community Foundation holds site visits for our Community Fund Grantees. We encourage you to join us in seeing the impact that our grants have on our local nonprofits, while also learning about the accomplishments, challenges, and plans for the future. Early Learning is No Small Matter
On Wednesday, May 1st at 7:00 PM, in collaboration with Park City Community Foundation, Park City Film presents Early Learning Is No Small Matter. The feature documentary explores the most overlooked, underestimated, and powerful force for good in America today: early childhood education. A post-film panel will be moderated by Katie Wright; Executive Director of the Park City Community Foundation. Please join us!

Have you joined us for one of our nonprofit roundtables? All Roundtables are hosted at the Blair Education Center at the Park City Hospital. Our next Executive Director Roundtable is April 17th. The upcoming Open Roundtable takes place May 15th. Our next Board Member Roundtable is joint with Executive Directors and occurs on May 16th.
