Park City Lunch

We are entering our shoulder season and the town is slowing down (a bit.) Locals and visitors can enjoy the color changes while taking a deep breath. As you go through your day, take a well-deserved break and visit one of these local eateries for a mid-day meal.

Lunch on Main Street

For inviting pub fare, check out Collies Sports Bar and Grill. With patio dining and a large food and drink menu, you can choose between a quick bite to eat or a long afternoon break. Don’t be surprised to find us under an umbrella table sharing Garlic Parm Smoked Wings by the pound.

Nestled in the middle of Main Street, 501 on Main is where sophistication meets casual. Enjoy the deck on main or the intimate dining room inside. My absolute favorite is the Beet Salad loaded with beets, spring mix, apricots, gorgonzola and toasted pumpkin seeds, lightly finished with a citrus dressing.

Quick and Fresh Lunch

Family owned Clockwork Café is one of the best kept secrets in Park City. Owner Ben Farquharson whips up one heck of a sandwich or wrap. Check out his “Sandwich Hall of Fame,” and make whatever substitutions suit your taste buds. And if you need a noon reboot, order a delicious cappuccino or freshly brewed coffee. Our favorite sandwich: The Italian Stallion loaded with ham, salami and provolone cheese.

If you’re craving Tex Mex flavors, stop in to El Chubasco at Prospector Square. This order at the counter cantina has a fresh salsa bar and fabulous favorites from tamales to tacos. Choose your filling from Shrimp, Chicken, Sweet Pork and Carnitas. Our team loves to share a dozen fish tacos, with chips and their famous salsa bar.

It is not a surprise Five5eeds always ends up on the best breakfast and lunch winner’s list. Run in and order the Savory Waffle and Chook to go (spinach, chorizo and haloumi waffle and crumbled chook). Or, since breakfast is served all day, sit down and enjoy the pulled pork benedict. Owners, Andrew and Tiffany are from “Down Under” and infuse Aussie flavors into everything they create.

Golf and Lunch

After a morning on the Park City Public Golf Course, enjoy an afternoon lunch at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. Located at the Hotel Park City, valet parking is conveniently available. I love to order the Blackend Tenderloin Capaccio (thinly sliced tenderloin, arugula, white vinaigrette, parmesan, crispy capers, fried poached eggs) or our entire group will munch on lightly fried calamari.

If you’ve headed down the road to one of Midway’s golf courses, the Wildfire Smokehaus, at the Zermatt Resort, is the perfect end to a brisk mountain round. From Wood Fired Pizza to scrumptious smoked meat, your entire foursome will be satisfied. End your relaxing lunch with homemade pie and enjoy the beautiful views.
