As far back as the Greek era, the affluent have enjoyed the benefits of private club memberships. Like any organization that brings people with common interests together, these associations devote themselves to promoting a sense of community and providing entertainments and pleasures to their members. In and around Park City, outdoor activities such as skiing and golf are central to many of the private clubs. Some require the purchase of real estate while others do not. PARK MEADOWS COUNTRY CLUB
Established in 1997, Park Meadows Country Club is the longest standing private club in Park City. It is the only in-town, 100% member owned club that requires no purchase of real estate prior to joining. Because it focuses on local, full-time residences, its ambiance is quite different from those organizations that are associated with resorts.
