This “noshery” as they call it, offers customers the chance to fill their basket with the artisanal cuisine they love, deli style. Just be warned, many customers claim it’s quite addicting and becoming the only place they go — for any meal of the day.

Fancy your own home-cooked meal? The Park City Culinary Institute will guide picnic goers in creating their own gourmet basket. Make sure you pack your white linen table cloth to round out your gourmet picnic experience.

The nook that is La Niche, where something wonderful always graces at least one window, offers a little bit of everything. To the back, you will find French pressed coffee and espresso, along with the creamiest gelato this side of the Atlantic. While these items may not make it into the picnic basket, some of the other gourmet foods they off er just might, and if you’re looking for a basket to fi ll you can fi nd that too. Be sure to pick up wine freeze cooling cups.

For truly market fresh, the Park City Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays has an abundance of options. On the way from Kimball Junction, grab a fresh loaf of Volker’s bread, some cured meats and impeccable cheese, along with some fresh fruits and vegetables. Now you are ready for a picnic at the Deer Valley Wednesday Night concert.
