You can’t help living in this majestic city and not appreciating the beauty of our
natural surroundings. Every year male elk shed their racks, weighing up to 20
pounds each, and as a lover of wildlife, finding one of these treasures is a victorious
accomplishment. Whether walking along the Rail Trail and spying a family of
beavers in Poison Creek, or coming to a complete stop on 224 to allow a herd of
deer to cross over, each day is like being in a woodland wonderland.

is admiration of fauna extends to our city’s love for it’s four legged companions.
Most locals have adopted at least one rescue animal and many of us have a
household of these dedicated fluffy family members.

This love for nature transcends to our amazing outdoor lifestyle. Get your ski
pass and hit the slopes or check out local events like the annual FIS Snowboard
Freeski and Freestyle World Championships, one of the biggest sports events
since the 2002 Olympics, where over 1300 athletes from all over the world will
compete for championship glory.

To enjoy the outdoors in style, be sure to follow our “model around town” and
spruce up your winter wardrobe. Whether you’re searching for new ski togs, cozy
snow boots or faux fur jackets, Park City’s retailers have got you covered. And
while checking out the local scene, keep warm and energized by stopping by one
of our favorite co ee houses. “What’s Brewing” is a short list of cool café’s where
you can get a “cup of joe.”

A er a cold day, check out our famous foodie scene—100 + pages of delicious
menus and dining news. Be sure to order some “winter comfort food” and have
it delivered to your home while you complement the meal with a wine pairing.
Or step into the night and warm up at one of our local wine cellars or Alpine
Distilling’s tasting room, on the ground floor of 350 Main, and make your own
batch of custom infused gin.

Drive 35 minutes west to Salt Lake City and enjoy “dinner and a show” at the Pioneer Theatre or attend the Wasatch Speaker Series, an evening of conversation
with world leaders, innovators and scientists. Only a few hours away, visit
Bear Lake for unmatched ice fishing or Jackson Hole for a true cowboy adventure.
