Shred for Red – Patients and Olympians Team Up To Shred The Mountain and Cancer

Did you know that someone is diagnosed with blood cancer every 3 minutes? Now is the time to defeat cancer once and for all. Shred for Red is presented by Deer Valley Resort. Its purpose is to spread awareness and raise funds to eradicate blood cancers, all while skiing Deer Valley and “The Greatest Snow On Earth.”

This one day event will take place on Saturday December 7th. Each participant of Shred for Red will enjoy a lift ticket, a Shred For Red participant bib, and the opportunity to meet and ski with Olympians. Expect fun activities and challenges where teams seek out and complete task to earn points. The day will with an exclusive apres-ski reception.

Shred for Red benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society—a non profit organization dedicated to finding a cure to blood cancers and providing patients with the treatments they need. Registration is now open events.lls.org/pages/ut/shredforred19 . You can register as a sponsor, team, individual or lodge lounger.

Shred for Red is a fun, family-friendly experience open to all ages and abilities. Even those who choose not to get out on the slopes and ski can still participate in the on-mountain challenges as a Lodge Lounger.

8:00 AM Registration Begins
9:15 AM Downhill Download – Announcements and Overview
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM – Shredding and Competing Challenges on the Slopes
1:30 Pm – 3:30 PM – Apres Ski Reception
After 3:30 PM – Enjoy the rest of the day on the slope or relaxing with friends and family
