Soldier Hollow Bike Festival

For the third year in a row, the Summit Bike Club will host the Soldier Hollow Bike Festival from May 2 thru 5 at the Nordic venue of the 2002 Winter Olympics, located in Midway. The festival is an inclusive event for all ages and abilities, and now has multi-discipline activities including cross country mountain biking, road bike demos/exhibitors, dual slalom and more.

This is America’s premier 4-day mountain bike stage race. The Soldier Hollow Bike Festival brings together some of the fastest riders in the world including Heber City’s hometown hero Keegan Swenson. Keegan is ranked 2nd in the US and in the top 100 riders in the world. He will be making his mark once again on the Soldier Hollow course. Keegan will be joined by two other Heber City mountain bike pro’s Evelyn Dong and Ryan Standish. Along with the pros, there will be a strong group of international riders from around the globe. Additionally, top amateur riders from Utah and across the US will be at SOHO testing their skills and fitness levels on one of the most challenging courses in America.

The Festival will also bring together top cycling and outdoor companies exhibiting the latest cycling gear and accessories. Bike Demos, food samples and food trucks will also be on hand to bring our community together to kick off the 2019 bike season with a bang!

With a mission to inspire and develop riders the Soldier Hollow Bike Festival has become an annual tradition for many locals. The event is free for spectators, so stop by and demo bikes, check out the exhibits and cheer on your favorite teams.
