Roberto Coin is driven by his innate love for the world of art and fashion. In 1996 he left a successful career as a hotelier and followed a dream to face a new and passionate adventure. His taste and experimentation turns each of his creations into a work of art. The capacity to transfer the most varied experiences, dreams and perspectives into each piece, characterizes his collection with an unmistakable mark of uniqueness.

Roberto Coin’s latest collection is inspired by his favorite architectural landmark, the Doge’s Palace. Palazzo Ducale sets itself apart from other creations through its use of geometric shapes. Harnessing the chiaroscuro marble and stone decoration that is typical of Venetian Gothic architecture, Roberto Coin features opposing combinations of black and white diamonds and polished and brushed gold to achieve the same effect.

Necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings appear delicate and simple on the surface, yet when examined closer, the embellished details on each piece is impressive. Twisted gold thread frames each shape within every piece to comprise a collection that is a wealth of luxury.

Each piece by Roberto Coin is the result of a thorough process, a journey among different cultures and multi-ethnic influences, through the world of nature, between echoes of the past and future projections. ■

As Roberto Coin so eloquently states, “Fashion is changeable. It is whimsical. Style is not. Style is part of us, of our life, in every moment and every expression.”
