Mental Wellness Focus for Everybody

The Summit County Mental Wellness Alliance is a community-based partnership bringing together an array of community partners and organizations focused on mental health and substance abuse. Established in collaboration with CONNECT, a grassroots, non-profit organization, Park City Community Foundation, the Summit County Health Department, along with the three school districts, the Alliance addresses the current mental health and substance abuse issues facing the county.

The goal of the Alliance is to create community-based solutions that are countywide, systemic, sustainable and aimed at improving the state of mental wellness and substance abuse in our community. “We realized early on that these issues could not be tackled without the whole community involved. It is necessary to collaborate with leaders in government, nonprofits, healthcare and the private sector,” said Ollie Wilder of Park City Community Foundation.

The Alliance has inspired over 100 people to get involved in creating solutions so that everyone in our community can thrive.
