When it comes to fun at Park City Mountain, the end of winter is just the beginning.

Ask any Park City local and they’ll tell you, “I came for the winters, but I stayed for the summers.”

With comfortable temperatures rarely creeping into the 80s, virtually no humidity and seemingly endless sun-fi lled days, Park City has established itself as a summertime vacation hotspot. And just like the winters here boast endless recreation, entertainment and family friendly fun, so too do the months the kids are out of school.

The town’s hub for summer-time fun is arguably Park City Mountain. There you’ll and everything from the adrenaline-pumping Alpine Coaster to toddler friendly tubing and gem panning.

“Utah is home to spectacular outdoor settings, and it’s important for kids to have the opportunity to get outside and experience these outdoor spaces. Park City Mountain makes this easy for families,” notes Jessica Miller spokeswoman for the resort. “Boredom is not an option at Park City Mountain. We off er scenic hiking and biking trails, alpine slides, a mountain coaster, zip lines and more, there’s truly an adventure waiting for everyone.”

Children between 30 and 100 pounds, and between the age of 2 and 11 years can enjoy unique activities like:

Little adventurers get the thrill of a zip line, but on a scale of their own. Th ey’ll zip along at their own speed on a zip line made just for them.

The kid’s tubing brings winter fun to summer without the need for snow.

Children at least 3 years of age and who stand at least of 42” tall can also ride the Alpine Coaster with an adult. Other big-kid activities include:

– Alpine Coaster:
This elevated roller coaster is the longest in the state and is sureto delight both thrill seekersand nature lovers as they wind through more than a mile ofloops, curves and hair-pin curvesat speeds up to 30 mph.

Park City Mountain’s AlpineSlide is one of the longest slidesin the world, with over 3,000feet of gliding and sliding downa luge-like track.
