Utah Symphony at the Waterfall

Experience the transformative power of a live performance of the Utah Symphony at the awe-inspiring Waterfall Amphitheater. Founded in 1940, the Utah Symphony is one of America’s major symphony orchestras, known internationally for its distinctive performances and recording legacy. Today, the orchestra’s 85 full-time professional musicians perform over 175 concerts each season.

The orchestra under the direction of Conner Gray Covington will perform selections from composer John Williams’ movie scores—including Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Superman—and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture with live cannon fire by Cannoneers of the Wasatch. Bring a picnic, grab concessions, or pre-order a picnic dinner. Following the performance enjoy a firework show.

Fairytale Festival: Saturday

The Saturday around Midsummer’s Eve, join us to celebrate magic, fairies, and the rich characters of fairy tales! Everyone will enjoy as we bring these folk tales to life discussing the science and history behind these stories and what we can learn from them. Come experience fairy tale themed crafts, activities, and performers in the magical Ashton Gardens. It will be an adventure the whole family can enjoy!

Garden of Quilts

You are invited to an event like none other. In partnership with Riley Blake Designs, Thanksgiving Point is bringing to Utah an outdoor exhibition of well over a thousand quilts. Set within the award-winning, 55-acre Ashton Gardens, the exhibition will feature a juried collection of quilts from artists across the country, as well as rare access to view some stunning private collections–all on display for three days only.
