Whether you’re into Groomers and artisanal goat cheese, tree skiing and Tuna Tartare, mountain vistas and Vietnamese Pho, or bump runs, burgers
and bratwurst, skiers at Park City’s three world class resorts will find a spate of terrific on-mountain lunch spots. Non-skiers can join in the midday experience at mid-mountain and base area restaurants that are easily accessible to the slopes.

Deer Valley’s Royal Street Cafe offers sit down dining and deck service in Silver Lake Village. In addition to favorite menu items, Deer Valley Turkey Chili, Yellowfin Tuna Tartare and the BBQ sampler, Royal Street has added hand-crafted European-style cheeses by renowned Belgian cheese maker Corinne Cornet- Coniglio. Try the Triple Truffie, Moon Shadow and other artisanal selections.

Enjoy breathtaking views of Deer Valley’s Silver Lake area at Stein Eriksen’s Troll Hallen Lounge, where skiers enjoy Executive Chef Zane Holmquist’s Swedish Meatballs and Mashers, classic Stein’s Burger, Steamed Mussels or Whiskey Spiced Onion Soup. Dine al fresco or inside the cozy lounge area next to the fireplace and hand carved bar.

Montage Deer Valley Apex restaurant’s three fireplaces ensure a warm ambiance and menu to match. Choose items from the a la carte menu or the Skiers’ Buffet with soups, salads, carving station, and a Vietnamese Pho soup station. Montage’s Daly Pub offers a gastro pub atmosphere and brick oven pizzas, or for a quick snack, try the outdoor Beach Haus’ grilled burgers and Bratwurst.

Park City Mountain Resort’s 100 year-old Mid Mountain Lodge was originally a boarding house for miners before it was moved 1000 feet up the mountain. Enjoy the Mid-Mountain Burger, Utah Fries, Asian Lettuce Wraps or other made-to-order items on the spacious deck. For non-skiers, base area Legends Bar & Grill offers signature dishes like Seared Ahi Nachos, paninis and Smores Bread Pudding.

The Silver Star Café near the historic Spiro Mine is a warm, family owned, award-winning restaurant serving Western influenced home-style cooking. Favorites include hearty soups, salads, sandwiches and rustic pizzas inside or on the patio. Ski down Park City Mountain Resort’s Ligety Split or Silver Star ski runs, or access via Three Kings Drive.

The Westgate Hotel’s Drafts Sports Bar & Grill at Canyons Resort earned “Best of State” awards for “Best American Pub” and “Best Gourmet Burger.” Choose from 50 international beers, wine and full bar selections while enjoying a variety of burgers or stone hearth baked pizzas and your favorite sports teams on 10 flat screen TVs.

The Canyons Resort’s aptly named Cloud Dine restaurant atop Dream Peak is now a permanent structure with increased seating and large outdoor deck. Savor innovative made-to-order salads, brick oven flat bread pizzas, hearty sandwiches and entrees. For on-mountain table service dining, Lookout Cabin offers a full bar, Rocky Mountain Fondue, tasty sandwiches and entrées enhanced by spectacular views from the protected deck.

The Farm, in the Canyons’ base area, is a perfect meeting point for skiers and non-skiers. Chef Steven Musolf offers sustainably- raised items prepared from scratch. Try the Country Pate, Zoe’s Pickled Beets & Kale or the Herb Roasted Pork Loin Po’ Boy.

No matter where you’re skiing, you won’t go hungry here in Park City.
