World-renown Auberge Resort will soon open in Wanship

Among discerning travelers, the name Auberge is synonymous with luxury and impeccable attention to detail. But this same group is quick to admit that service and elegance are only part of the “where to stay on vacation” equation. Well-heeled globe trotters are also looking for that added, sometimes intangible, wow factor. Which is why an Auberge Resorts property is often where they end up.

In addition to first-class amenities and sophisticated ambience, Auberge Resorts accommodations are known for offering unique experiences that are as intimate as they are ultimate—from afternoon drives in a complementary Mercedes-Benz, to grape-stomping in Napa during the harvest, to a personalized yoga class on a private Mexican beach. And later this year, Auberge Resorts will add bucket-list excursions like clay shooting on Blixt & Company designed course, distilling your own whiskey, and fly fishing on private blue-ribbon streams to its list of adventures. All this and more will be available when the renowned hospitality group opens its latest property, Th e Lodge at Blue Sky, located in Wanship, Utah this May.

“At first glance it might seem a tad out of place,” admits Henry Hudson, director of adventures at Blue Sky. “After all, Auberge Resorts are located in some of the most jaw-on-the-floor places on the planet—Anguilla, Fiji, and the British West Indies to name a few. But in our view, that’s exactly why Wanship is a perfect fit. Here, you’ll find unspoiled natural beauty and unlimited options for adventure.”

Built in 2010, Blue Sky Ranch is set on over 3,500 picturesque acres just 15 minutes from Park City. Since its completion, Blue Sky has seamlessly blended civilized comforts with authentic Western ambiance. Guests have enjoyed a host of unique Wild West experiences—from horseback rides through the aspens to working cattle on the range. In short, since its inception, Blue Sky Ranch has boasted everything one could want in a mountain getaway. Except, of course, an overnight lodging option onsite.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Auberge Resorts and continue to share this remarkable property with those looking to get away from the noise and the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and truly reconnect with nature and romance,” added Hudson. “Here you can marvel at the five-billion stars twinkling in the night sky, then tuck in to your five-star room.”

When complete, the resort will offer 46 accommodations in three different styles: Sky, Earth and Creek. Each style is designed to complement its unique location on the property. Like other Auberge properties, The Lodge at Blue Sky will offer an indulging Auberge Spa, as well as dining options that boast locally sourced, organic ingredients. The High West Distillery located at Blue Sky will continue to produce world-class whiskey and off er tastings and tours.
