One of Heber Valley’s most anticipated events, the annual Heber Valley Western Music and Cowboy Poetry Gathering, returns October 25-29th, 2017. This year marks the 23rd anniversary of this five day fun-fest, which features live music and entertainment, poetry readings, western art, a trader’s camp and delicious cowboy grub for the entire family.

The Gathering is a unique opportunity to revisit some of Utah’s own wild west past, as the concept of cowboy poetry dates back more than a century. The tales, some carried down through the generations, come to life through musical performances and — of course — the smooth-talking, raspy-voiced cowboys who come to share their lore.

Multiple venues within the Heber Valley welcome visitors — big and small, novices and “old hands.” There are truly options for everyone. Activities include concerts, dinner shows, cowboy gear displays — even mounted shooter competitions! And for a truly one-of-a-kind experience, don’t miss a ride aboard the Heber Creeper, where performers and entertainers take their crafts to the rails!
