Engel & Völkers Real Estate Opens in Kamas
Engel & Völkers announced the opening of a new office in Kamas under the leadership of licensed partner Paul Benson. Benson is the licensed partner of more than 30 Engel & Völkers’ shops, comprising approximately 780 real estate advisors and over 70 staff members.
The global luxury real estate brand is already well established in the state, with existing locations in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Wasatch County. With Engel & Völkers Real Estate now in Kamas, and two other new locations in Holladay and St. George, the company has added more than 50 new professionals to the brand’s global network of real estate advisors.
Overseeing the day to day operations of Engel & Völkers Real Estate in Kamas are broker Aly George, an operations and management expert with more than 30 years of experience in real estate, and shop manager Austin Smoot, a Utah native and active real estate professional for 17 years with a special expertise in construction and development. The shop is located in the heart of Kamas Valley, serving home buyers and sellers in Kamas, Samak, Oakley, Peoa, Francis, Woodland, and Weber Canyon.
As the gateway to the Uinta Mountains, Kamas consists of multi-million dollar ranches, equestrian properties, as well as seasonal access cabins and new construction single-family homes.
The local real estate market has seen huge advancements over the past few years. Benson explains, “The Park City area has changed so much since I started in real estate over a decade ago. It’s evolved from a seasonal ski town into a true year-round, global resort market. As part of Engel & Völkers, we’re part of a globally connected boutique brand with locations in top destinations around the world, but also one that remains very local and community driven, which is a business model that thrives in Park City. In expanding our presence here and opening a new location in Kamas, we’re lucky to have found amazing partners in the Smoot family. As prices in Park City continue to increase, Kamas is attracting more people looking for that small town vibe, and we feel very fortunate to open our newest location here this summer.”
