MAKE LASTING MEMORIES AT SNOWED INN SLEIGH COMPANY

The Snowed Inn Sleigh Company is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. They offer an extraordinary western winter adventure that is family friendly right on the Park City Mountain Resort. Different from other winter dining experiences, this adventure starts with real cowboys loading guests onto horse drawn sleighs for a ride up the mountain to a gourmet western dinner and live entertainment.

Most folks living in and around Park City or visiting the Wasatch Back in the winter have traveled up the ski hills on the lift s; few have had the opportunity to ride the runs behind horses.

With only three dinner seatings each night, this experience requires reservations. Bookings can be made online for “just a sleigh ride” (25-30 minutes) or the sleigh ride and dinner (2 ½ hours.) The adventure begins right on time, so arrive a few minutes early to meet the horses and the cowboys.

Each sleigh holds 10-12 people and is pulled by two strong draft horses. The 20-minute ride traverses the ski runs up to the rustic mountain lodge, treating riders to spectacular views of the mountains, the Park City lights and the glistening stars.

At the lodge, guests warm up by a roaring fire. Along with scrumptious cowboy fare with a flair, the Snowed Inn Sleigh Company hosts local artists each evening to entertain diners with music and laughter.

Local Betsi Thompson shares, “Last year, my family visited us in Utah for the first time. Since they are from Mexico and hadn’t seen snow, we knew we had to take them on a sleigh ride. The view of the mountain from the sleigh was magical. Riding up the mountain with snow lightly falling on us in the evening felt like we were in a fairy tale. My little cousins said, ‘We’re in Frozen’ and looked for princesses. It was definitely an unforgettable experience that we all will look back on and do again.”

While family friendly, the Snowed Inn can also be romantic. It is an ideal place to host weddings, special events and company parties. Dietary accommodations can be made for children, vegetarians and gluten-free guests.

Snowed Inn Sleigh Company curates an experience for connoisseurs of fine food in a welcoming and warm style. While there are a variety of ways to make memories in Park City, riding with a real cowboy in a horse drawn sleigh is one that should not be missed.
