WORLD-CLASS PIONEER MASSON SPINE INSTITUTE

Breaking-ground in the Park City community just last year, the Masson Spine Institute has been redefining the ever-evolving landscape of spinal surgery for over 21 years. With a laser-focus on bringing patients back up to speed—if not better—after spinal surgery, the Masson Spine institute has pioneered some of the least invasive and most ground-breaking microsurgical spinal procedures anywhere in the world.

At the forefront, Dr. Robert Masson brings his passion for excellence, globally-renowned expertise and appreciation for the Park City landscape to the Masson Spine Institute in Prospector Square. Having performed over 13,000 microsurgical spine procedures and thousands more minimally invasive procedures, he is one of the most experienced and sought after neurosurgeons in North America. He enjoys skiing, mountain-biking, scuba diving and he himself is a recovery patient of a minimally-invasive spinal procedure, which thoroughly informs his willingness and drive to get each and every patient on their feet and back into action.

From the initial institute in Orlando, Florida, to the newly developed campus in Park City, Utah, the Masson Spine Institute is a premiere destination for a suite of spine procedures whilst also a centralized training ground for other medical professionals, carefully crafting solutions and tutorials – many of which involve the ground-breaking iMAS Procedure originally developed by Dr. Masson himself. Pinched nerves, herniated discs, bone spurs – the vast catalogue of minimally invasive surgeries and treatments is seemingly endless. As the institute continues to grow, Dr. Masson is looking to build his team of dedicated doctors to join him in the Park City Area.

Dr. Masson’s dream of bringing world-class sports medicine, spinal surgery and recovery to the feet of an Olympic playground has truly come to fruition — right here in the heart of Park City.
