Located at the Canyons Village, inside the Westgate Resort and Spa, Yoga Kula Project offers a variety of yoga and wellness classes including Bikram, Hot Pilates and Yoga Stretch, to name just a few. Owner and instructor, Trudee Sanbonmatsu, has created an environment where everyone is welcome and can practice yoga in a supportive, safe and encouraging atmosphere. In addition, group and individual private classes are also available.

It also means individual instruction for alignment or other adjustments you need to make, which isn’t always possible in larger classes. Proper alignment, the precise way to position your body in a pose, is necessary for maximum benefit and avoiding injury. Additionally, a private session is a safe place to discuss questions or concerns regarding any health limitations or injuries…or to simply let go of emotions. You can also get assistance with breathing techniques, meditation or stress relief that not only enhances your yoga experience, but your life “off the mat” as well.
