“I’m the Rose that Came From Concrete”-Cardi B, Best Life (Invasion of Privacy)
From the streets in New York City to the Oohs & Aahs showroom in Park City, Cardi has a whole new life.
One year ago (or seven years ago in dog years), Taylor Langone was living in New York City. One hot summer night, Taylor spotted the dog from her subway platform. Th e poor dog was severely malnourished and had no hair except on her face. She was wrapped in 2 blankets and several harnesses were digging into her skin. Welts covered her body and she could hardly move.
Instead of getting on the train to go home, Taylor went to get the dog some water and rushed back. Th e dog drank the entire bottle of water. “When I started to leave she started crying, so I scooped her up and took her home with me.” said Taylor. “I took her to the animal hospital in the morning and they said she was only a few weeks away from dying.” Taylor began to nurse the dog back to health. She has been on a lot of medications and a strict diet. Taylor named her Cardi aft er the rapper Cardi B. All of her hair has grown back. She has become a happy, healthy pup, who sleeps in Taylor’s bed every night and even comes to work with her.
